Based in Greater Manchester I offer a mobile service covering North West England. I will travel to a location of your choice for both the trial and big day, so that you can get ready in the comfort of your own home or venue of your choice.
The wedding trial
A trial is essential for the bride. The trial will ensure that you are happy with how you will look on your wedding day, that you are not sensitive to the products used and that your wedding day will run smoothly with your make-up, hair and timings. Your trial will last up to two hours. Members of your bridal party may join you at your trial. Please allow an extra hour for each other person requiring a trial.
If you already have some ideas for your make-up and hair, please have photos or magazine cuttings with you. If you have already decided on veil and tiara, it is good to have them at the trial. If not i have a veil and hair accessory samples that will help you decide. We will discuss the make-up you normally wear, hair styles that will suit your hair type and length, the style of your dress and wedding, colour themes and photography style. The finished result should feel comfortable for you, fit in with the style of your wedding and your personality, and most importantly, last all day. I can use hair pieces and paddings to create looks that may be hard to achieve with your own hair. I have used hair pieces and paddings on many brides in my portfolio - i bet you can't tell which ones!
Individual and strip false lashes are available at extra cost. Individual lashes are usually placed from the middle to outer top lid and will enhancing your natural lashes. The full strip is placed along the length of your top lid and will create a more dramatic look. A skin test is required at least 24 hours prior to application, this is usually done at the trial to make sure you are not allergic to the glue.
Wedding trials are held during the week, either during the day or on a Tuesday or Thursday evening. I do not do trials at weekends as these are usually fully booked with weddings. If it is not possible to do the trial during the week, please contact me and I will check weekend availability.
The wedding day
I usually stay until you are ready to leave as lipstick/gloss and veil are fitted after you have put on your dress. So, if you if you require assistance with fastening your dress, jewellery or other final arrangements such as packing your handbag, attaching button holes, helping you and your dress into the car, i will be happy to stay and will make sure everything runs smoothly and stress free.
Evening reception make-up can also be booked for your wedding day if you wish to change your make-up for the party or would like to offer a 'freshen up' service for you and your guests. The cost of this service will be calculated based on your individual requirements and it is advisable to check with your venue to ensure that there will be a room available to offer this service in.
Your makeup will be applied to last all day. However, I do recommend you have a lipstick/gloss for reapplication. The makeup I use can be purchased, prices available on request.
